Opalia Weir Views — Identity and Placemaking Campaign
A new town centre. A new community. A new future. Opalia is a masterplanned residential community unlike anywhere else in the area, offering a unique combination of land lots, medium-density living, open green spaces, sports ovals, a proposed government school and its own shopping centre featuring supermarkets, cafés and wellness spaces.
Opalia sets the scene for a life of total satisfaction. And with the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside and the urban lifestyle of central Melton close by, everything is in place to provide complete peace of mind for a beautiful future.
Though Melbourne's western suburbs have been booming in recent years, EIG Developments needed a truly unique identity and placemaking campaign for their flagship development, named after the prestigious Australian Opal, to cut through competition and really resonate with overwhelmed homebuyers.
Plan B were tasked with not only developing the Opalia brand identity, but also the creation of a custom built website, onsite sales and marketing display suite visitor journey and livery, large format entrance and billboard signage, online and print advertising and various other printed promotional items. As part of the Opalia Plaza opening launch, we also designed and produced all digital marketing collateral, full-height, in-window promotional vinyl signage and wayfinding items onsite, and continue to be a part of the larger rollout of both the shopping centre and ongoing stage releases.
